The scariest thing about distance is that you don’t know whether they’ll miss you or forget you.

CatchMeOnYourWay-Up: Long Distance Shit. →

I know a lot of people say that a long distance relationship is a true test of relationships and I agree, but fuck this shit. When she is in any sort of pain, discomfort, sadness, or even being super happy, I want to be right there next to her. Phone calls, text messages, Skype, and even posting about each other on tumblr is not enough. It’s almost like I need to go touch her skin, hug her, see her eyes in person to know that she is real. To know that I’m not falling for someone over these technical barriers or connections. Good morning and night messages can not compare to waking up or sleeping beside her. I want to hold her in my arms and never let go because this pillow doesn’t compare. Saying “I miss you” won’t change a thing, but make it worse. I want to hear her laugh and see her smile in person. I’m sure long distance relationships make the people appreciate each other more and make the in-person meetings even more special, but working towards it is the most fucked up feeling.

So true. I read this and I kind of wanted to cry..
